Other details: Tile displaying the shield of Thomas Skevington in Beaulieu Abbey. Thomas Skevington, nee Pace was last abbot but three of Beaulieu, and was subsequently consecrated Bishop of Bangor in AD 1509. The arms are those of Pace viz. Argent or chevron or sable charges with three gilly flowers proper, but in this instance different with three annulets pierced in chief.
