Other details: A centre tile on which the sacred monogram is impressed. The letters IHS and IHC in reality stand for the Greek name of Jesus, only that the signia was written diversely, even so early as the 6th century and later. This IHETE and IHCOTE for Jesus are convertible. See Fry's Pantographia. In pencil: ….
