Other details: Whether the singular device on this tile is, or is not in the nature of an armorial bearing I cannot pronounce but it is represented on the common seal of the Lion of Liskerd, or Liskareth, in Cornwall, an ancient corporation re incorporated the 29th Elizabeth. Should the above rendering be correct the tinctures will be, or, on a fleur de lis two birds azure (F Renaud). Still there December 1906. See tracing by Percy Manning (Irene Hore).
