Other details: A tile preserved in York Museum on which a man is portrayed piping to a tumbler. Mr Fosbrook (Brit Mon. p 47) quoting from Du ?Lange says `Corbitores i.e. tumblers used to attend burials of the poor and throw somersets' Mr Jewitt figures a similar tile in the Reliquary Volume 8 Plate II and says it was fabricated at the Repton kiln near Derby. Same design. In pencil:
