Other details:	Extract from letter from W. Beaumont to Dr. Renaud (Orford Hall, Warrington. October 10 1887) "photograph of this tile found amongst papers of Dr. Kendrick (?) Warrington - he supposed it to be Edward I writer says Edward II and meant to commemorate Thomas. Earl of ………..dster who was put to death for conspiring against Edward II and whose followers did their best to make him a saint and Robert de Waryngton a monk at Whalley went about the country to solicit money to obtain his canonization"
