Inked in tracing. Another with impressed subject, or shield of arms viz. Lozengy vair, on a chevron three martlets, or label vairy. On each side of the shield a trefoil and device the letter B. 13th century. 3 inches square. Figured in Renaud's Encaustic Tiles (Fig 6). He thinks the arms may be those of Fitzwilliam of Charworth. Brown and brick, glazed yellow in sunken parts (shaded) very much worn and obliterated. ?B in corner shaded part glazed but not sunk unless very slightly 3 7/8 inches square. Thickness 180 mm (Irene Hore).
