Other details: Another with part of a four tile pattern with radiating palmette ornament, enclosed by a band of black letter inscription of which ara Johis appears on this tile. Evidently part of an incription orate pro anima Johannis. See A 287. Yellow on very dark chocolate brown. Glazed. Slanting sides. Thickness 250 mm. In pencil:see Gloucester Cathedral.
