Given by Rev Edward Turner 1853. Two tiles with impressed pattern, a head to right with fantastic helmet in a diamond shaped panel, leaf designs in the angles, washed with white slip.16th century. 4.9 inches square. These tiles are probably of French make, and may be compared with those from la Maison Argot, near Dieppe. See specimen in French Pottery section to Museum.
