Other details:	A tile in the Museum at York on which the arms of Wake are displayed viz. or two bars gules, in chief three torteaux. They are recorded in the rolls of Henry 3 and Edward 2. Thomas son of Baslwin Wake, after founding a monastrery in Yorkshire died 23 Edward III (AD 1350) seized of ten manors in that county. See Dugdale's Baronetage.
